Our class was excited last Thursday when the caterpillars arrived. We are finishing with our plant unit next week and will be planting seeds to grow bean sprouts and flowers. The next Science unit is on insects. We are observing daily how the caterpillars are growing as well as the bean sprouts that will be planted this week. The children are eager to see the life cycle changes and the butterflies emerge from the chrysalis. Then we will enjoy releasing the butterflies.
